President Trump came forth this Tuesday to confess that he brought up the idea of bringing beachfront hotels and other real estate developments to North Korea during his meeting with dictator Kim Jong Un.
While talking with reporters following the historic summit, Trump explained that he told Kim that instead of testing ballistic missiles, the poverty-riddled nation “could have the best hotels in the world.”
“Instead of doing that, you could have the best hotels in the world right there,” Trump said he told Kim. “Think of it from a real estate perspective.”
Trump’s shocking admission came as he wrapped up his trip to Singapore, where he participated in a historic in-person meeting with Kim and signed an agreement locking the U.S.in to unspecified “security guarantees” in exchange for the denuclearization of North Korea.
Trump said he brought Kim to the table by showing him what the future could look like should he choose the path of peace: "Instead of [testing missiles] you could have the best hotels in the world right there. The president also suggested that he plans to have Kim visit the White House for future peace talks, which realistically means that Trump has a couple more ideas on where he wants to put his giant golden hotels.
Before leaving Singapore on Saturday, Trump discussed North Korea’s potential to be a “great” nation. However his remarks on Tuesday proved to us that the former real estate mogul never really stop thinking about his own businesses.
“You have South Korea, you have China and they own the land in the middle. How bad is that, right?” he added. “It’s great.”
Americans were quick to call out Trump for his actions:
He just can't help it,confessing his personal financial interest for every body to witness!

But remember: according to his lawyer, it’s completely fine for him to make money off the “presidency”! 👍🏼
