Former NBA Star Breaks Into Tears Over His Friend Kim Jong Un [WATCH]

Former NBA All-Star Dennis Rodman broke into tears during a live television interview on the historic summit between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un Tuesday morning.

Rodman talked with CNN‘s Chris Cuomo, sobbing as he explained how he always believed the summit would happen.

Rodman, who has infamously been close to Jong-un for years, detailed his past trips to the mysterious nation.

The former NBA star, who is currentlyin Singapore, admitted: “I got so many death threats. I believed in North Korea and when I came home I couldn’t even go home. I had to hide out for 30 days. But I kept my head up high. I knew things were going to change. I was the only one.”

Rodman, who donned a “Make America Great Again” baseball cap for the strange interview, seemed completely unaware of the politics that long separated North Korea from the rest of the world.

Instead he called Jong-un a “great friend,” suggesting that the murderous dictator was actually just a “big kid” at heart.
