A host on the National Rifle Association’s online NRA TV apologized after tweeting that North Korea should nuke California.
The tweet by host Grant Stinchfield, which has since been deleted said, “Let’s send a note to North Korea that Sacramento changed its name to Guam!”
Stinchfield later told the New York Daily News that it was supposed to be a joke. “It was meant as a joke and I regret it,” he said. “What’s going on with North Korea is no laughing matter.”
Last week the NRA issued a controversial video where NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch warned New York Times journalists “We’re coming for you.”
The NRA has called for the resignation of Democrat lawmaker Kathleen Rice (D-NY) after she tweeted, “I’m just going to say it. #NRA & @DLoesch are quickly becoming domestic security threats under President Trump. We can’t ignore that.”
This is a clear example of Trump’s base supporters are violent domestic terrorists. Let us know what you think.
