REPORT: Jimmy Kimmel Roasts Hannity, After He Is Revealed To Be Cohen’s Secret Client

Kimmel kicked off his show by informing viewers that Donald Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen headed into court today, in a desperate effort to keep his client list hidden. Cohen has three well-known clients. One of them being Donald Trump, for whom infamously he paid off Stormy Daniels for. His second client is Elliott Broidy, former deputy finance chair for the RNC, for whom Michael successfully negotiated a 1.6 million dollar payment to a Playboy model Broidy who he had an affair with and impregnated.

“So he’s a good dude,” Kimmel quipped.

Just hours before Kimmel’s monologue, Cohen was instructed by a judge to reveal the name of his mystery third client, “ and it turned out to be none other than my old friend Sean Hannity,” Kimmel said.

“Isn’t that interesting? That he would need advice from Michael Cohen?”

Hannity tweeted out a statement today, hoping to clarify his relationship with Cohen:

“Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective.”

“That sounds normal. He has a lawyer – he doesn’t pay. By the way, I’m thinking of hiring Michael Cohen as my lawyer,” Kimmel joked. “He only has three clients and apparently, he works for free. He doesn’t take money from anyone.”

Kimmel pointed out that Hannity tweeted furiously in the afternoon, insisting he assumed his conversations with Cohen were strictly confidential, but that they “never involved any matter between me and a third-party.”

“What kind of legal advice doesn’t involve a third party?” Kimmel joked. “Unless Hannity is thinking of suing himself?”
