Donald Trump found a new way to divert attention away from the Russia investigation, and now he’s acting like a complete madman. Over the past week, Donald threatened North Korea with fire and fury.
Apparently, starting a war with North Korea isn’t enough for Donald Trump. He is considering a “military option” to solve the crisis in Venezuela as well.
Trump met with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, national security adviser H.R. McMaster and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley at his Bedminster, NJ golf club before making a public statement.
Trump said, “We have many options for Venezuela, including a possible military option, if necessary.”
Reporters then asked Trump if he is considering sending U.S. troops to Venezuela. The president replied, “We don’t talk about it. But a military operation, a military option, is certainly something we could pursue.”
Venezuela is in serious need of help. 82% of households currently live in poverty, there is an 85% shortage of medicine, 87% of Venezuelans can not afford food, and 74% of citizens lost roughly 19 pounds in the past year.
