JUST IN: Some SHOCKING Dirt on Donald Trump Jr. Just Surfaced—and Americans Are OUTRAGED!

It may be said that Donald Trump, Jr., is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. On Monday, he tweeted several message that he exchanged with WikiLeaks back in 2016, thereby confirming The Atlantic’s reporting of the existence of the correspondence.

The Atlantic said WikiLeaks communicated with Trump Jr. in a series of direct messages from the organization’s Twitter account, and that Trump Jr.’s lawyers turned the messages over to congressional investigators looking into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election. WikiLeaks continued to message Trump Jr. until July 2017, but there is no evidence Trump Jr. responded to any of them after October 2016.

American intelligence analysts believe the Russians used WikiLeaks to publish hacked information about Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee. The organization’s founder, Julian Assange, has denied the allegations.

Vice President Mike Pence reiterated the Trump campaign’s claims that it wasn’t working with WikiLeaks during the election, telling Fox News on Monday that “nothing could be further from the truth.” It must be a massive coincidence, then, that a huge email leaks from WikiLeaks came just a few hours after the Access Hollywood tape in which Trump talked about sexually assaulting women was made public, diverting attention from a Trump scandal to a Clinton scandal.

WikiLeaks wrote Trump Jr. on Oct. 12, 2016, suggesting “your dad” tweet a particular link to a collection of hacked documents “if he mentions us.” Trump Jr. didn’t reply—but 15 minutes later, Donald Trump sent a tweet criticizing the media for not reporting on WikiLeaks’ “incredible information.”

Two days later, Trump Jr. sent a tweet that included the particular link that WikiLeaks had suggested:

The Washington Post has created a careful timeline of the correspondence between WikiLeaks and Don Jr., and it’s eye-opening.

What all this suggests is that the Trump campaign was coordinating the leak of damaging information with WikiLeaks—and that WikiLeaks was a tool of the Russian government.
